A Transoceanic Love Letter: Reimagining Cultural Empowerment and Innovative Celebrations by the Harbor — Lohkah Hotel Group and Its Properties Unveil Destination Wedding Salon
Xiamen, April 26, 2025 — Lohkah Hotel & Spa, together with its three sister properties — Lohkah Kulangsu, Kaipuu on the Reef, and Kaipuu Belfry — hosted the "Transoceanic Love Letter" destination wedding salon by the shores of Xiamen's Wuyuan Bay. The event presented prospective couples with a curated selection of wedding ceremony venues across the Lohkah and Kaipuu hotel brands. Focusing on the wedding market, Lohkah collaborated with premium industry partners to create an inspired celebration drawn from the imagery of century-old lychee trees and transoceanic love letters. Set on an open lawn surrounded by contemporary architecture and romantic imagination, the salon featured a vivid wedding ceremony demonstration and announced Lohkah's 2025 destination wedding service offerings — a luxury wedding banquet package designed to provide younger clients with a full-scene celebration experience that blends cultural depth and modern appeal.
The wedding salon unfolded across multiple venues at Lohkah Hotel & Spa, including the outdoor lawn, water features, and the private villa banquet hall. By reconfiguring the traditional narrative flow of a wedding — from the entrance and main ceremony lawn to the banquet hall — the event innovatively integrated distinctive wedding aesthetics into Lohkah’s oriental landscapes and contemporary architectural spaces. Drawing from the brand's signature East-meets-nature philosophy, the wedding settings were layered with subtle elegance. Starting from minimalist floral arrangements, flowing rattan accents, and vibrant green lawns, the design evoked a natural, living sensibility that balanced contemporary taste with sustainable luxury, deeply connecting local wedding customs with the natural scenery. Additionally, with a focus on personalized touches that resonate with modern couples, every detail — from interactive guest check-ins to emotional connections between the ceremony and attendees — was thoughtfully considered. Moving beyond the notion that "a wedding is just a show", the salon transformed "the ritual sense of the younger generation" into a "strategy of ceremonial resonance", allowing guests to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of genuine affection. This, indeed, was the heartfelt "Transoceanic Love Letter" that Lohkah delivered by the harbor.
